Private Tutors

We pride ourselves on our young, passionate and skilled teachers. The majority of our teachers are in their twenties and have been cherry picked from the thriving rock and pop scene in London and Scotland. All our teachers hold music qualifications and have extensive experience in one on one teaching. All teachers are DBS/CRB/PVG checked and we have vetted and interviewed them personally. So whatever your instrument, be it piano, guitar, drums and whatever your goal, AAME will help guide you every note of the way.

If you are looking for a music tutor in London or Scotland then you can come to the right place as we have cherry picked the best tutors for you. Questions & Answers

How do I find the right tutor?

You can search our map above and read short descriptions or you can click on their location and name which will take you to their advanced profile. If you want our help in finding you a tutor you can simply send us an email at contactaame@gmail.com with your requirements and we will endeavour to find you the most suitable tutor.

How and when do I pay?

You can either buy 5 lessons straight away or you can buy a trial lesson. We advise all of our students to have a trial lesson with their tutor of choice. After the trial you can either buy 5 lessons directly from the website or you can request an invoice and pay by bank transfer, debit/credit card or cheque.

      How much are lessons?

The trial lesson is £35 and lessons thereafter are £35 booked in blocks of 5 or £40 booked in blocks of 3.

Do all of your tutors have DBS checks?

We do interviews with all of our tutors and meet them all face to face too. We have a really close cicle of tutors and we all meet regularly to discuss teaching strategies and get to know each other. The majority of our tutors are DBS checked and if you request somebody who isn’t then you will be made aware of this before lessons take place and we will help you to feel 100% comfortable with any tutor choice.

      How do I contact tutors?

If you want to get in touch with any tutors you can contact us directly on contactaame@gmail.com or 0208 1336872 and we will arrange everything with you before putting you in touch with the tutor.

      How long are lessons?

Most lessons will last for 1 hour and most students will take 1 per week however there is flexibility within this. If you want to have more or less intense lessons then this can be arranged.

Am I too old/young for lessons

Our tutors have a wide range of students of all ages and you are never too old to learn. We tend to not recommend individual instrument lessons for children under 3 years old but please contact us on >a href=”contactaame@gmail.com”>contactaame@gmail.com</a> to discuss.
